Brown Vs Board of Education
This lawsuit started by Oliver Brown against the board of education of Topeka the court ruled in favor of the Board of Education which brought up a state law stating separate but equal facilities for black and whites. All cases was sponsored by NAACP.
If it wasn't for this lawsuit that abolished racial segregation between blacks and whites today our school system would be probably be still segregated. -
PARC vs Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
The PARC field a class-action suit against the commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the failure to provide proper public education to these students who have intellectual disabilities.
The case was resolved quickly between the two parties. The state agreed to provide a free public education for children.
I think the decision was the best option for the future of education and all student with disabilities.Every student must be able to learn no matter of age,sex or race. -
Honig vs Doe
First,case to research the Supreme Court regarding discipline of students with disabilities. "Stay Put" provision school authorities from unilaterally excluding student with disabilities from classroom for dangerous conduct growing out of disability.
