    Paul Revere's Ride
    On the night of April 18, 1775 Revere rode his horse from Boston to Lexington with the purpose of warning people that British soldiers had stationed at Boston. It wasnt only Paul Revere in this mission, Wiliam Dawes and Samuel Prescott were set to alert people too. Paul Revere ended up being detained after leaving Lexington by British Patrols but up being released later.

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord initiated the American Revolution. This took place on April 19, 1775 in the towns Lexington and Concord which resulted in an American win. The outcome was only around an estimated 393 casualties altogether.

The Declaration of Independence also stated a list of griviences for the king of England along with the 13 colonies claiming the power of an independent country.

    British and revolutionary forces clashed at Cooch's Bridge in Delaware. Here Washington was flanked and defeated by the British troops leading them to the American capital at this time.

    The Battle of Saratoga was an important point of the Revolutionary War. This battle resulted in an American victory. This battle initially began when General John Burgoyne attempted invading the Hudson River Valley. It is estimated that there was 1465 total casualties.

    Here British troops had been outnumbered and they had surrendered to the Continental Army and their allies. This battle came to an end on October 19, 1781. This battle resulted in an estimated 8,978 casualties. During this battle the British were led by General Lord Charles Cornwallis while the continental by General Washington.

    The Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3, 1783. This document was signed by Adams, Franklin, Jay and Hartley. Here the document ended the American Revolution and granted the United States as an independent country.
