George Stiblitz Creates the Complex Number Calculator. A foundation for the digital Computer.
Important because it had the first digital display.

MARK Series of Computers Released

Howard Aiken & Grace Hopper release the MARK series of computers at Harvard University.
Helped start the first computer lab.

Cathoode-Ray Tube(CRT) invented

F.C. Williams develops his cathode-ray tube (CRT) storing device the forerunner to random-access memory (RAM).
Impoertant becacause it was the forerunner to RAM.

Optical Fiber Invented

Optical fiber was invented by Basil Hirschowitz, C. Wilbur Peters, and Lawrence E. Curtiss.
Optical Fiber is used in most cords today.

Silicon Chip Invented

ARPANET is important because it was the forerunner for internet.
