First Day Alive
This was the day that I was born. I was my moms third child and my dads 5th child. I weighed around 7-8 pounds. I also had to spend time in the nicu because the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck. I also was told I used to be a crybaby. -
Start of Baseball
This was the year I started playing baseball. I was in kindergarten at this time and baseball was fun. I played at Hamilton Park for a team called H.A. Kings, and Central Lions. I played with H.A. Kings for two years and Central Lions my last year. I played baseball up till my 3rd grade year then I quit when I was in the 4th. I honestly do regret quitting. -
Obama's Presidency
Obama being elected as president gave hope to many people across the country. Obama wanted to increase taxes for higher income Americans to fund healthcare. This relates to me because there has never before been a black president and me being half black that shows me I can be anything. He also tried to help fix the 2008 crisis. I think that he was one of the best presidents in U.S. history. -
Childrens Museum
On this day, I went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. I was in the 3rd grade when I went and it was a school field trip. They had a tall, colorful glass sculpture that was around 50 ft tall. However, the day before I had a lot of overdue work and my teacher told me I had to get it done or I couldn't go. Later that night I rushed through all the work. -
A New Home
This was the day when me and my family moved to a new house. We had been searching for a new house for months but couldn't seem to find the right one. We ended up coming across this house and it fit our standards. We also put a lot of work towards the house. Throughout the six years we've been here, we have made a lot of great memories. -
First Day of Middle School
This day was my first day of middle school. At Towles, we weren't considered to be in middle school till we got to the 7th grade. We did our work on laptops and Towles is apart of the New Tech program. Going there helped prepare me for High school. Towles was fun and I liked my experience there. -
Cleveland comes back from 3-1 deficit
During the 2016 NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers came back from a 3-1 lead in the finals. This had never been done before in NBA history and will forever be remembered as one of the most iconic NBA Finals games. I was watching game 7 live and it was back and forth scoring the whole game and went down to the wire. This relates to me because I won money and I love watching the NBA. It was truly a game to witness. -
First Day of freshman Year
This was my first day of freshman year. I really wasn't that nervous about coming to high school. I remember going to the football game the following Friday. The football game was really fun and we ended up winning. So far freshman year has been the most fun year for me. -
Florida
On this day, I flew to Florida for a week vacation. I had the best time of my life in Florida. I went to Tampa Bay and it was beautiful down there. I went to Clear water beach and I swam in the ocean. I plan on going there again for spring break. -
Drivers License
This was the day that I got my drivers license. I took drivers ed and was able to get it 3 months early. Right after I got it my parents made me go to the grocery store. The car I have is a 2005 buick lesabre and its a good car. However, I don't like paying for gas. -
Semi
This day was my first time going to semi formal. I had just gotten my license before semi and I drove there with some of my friends. I honestly wish they played better music because I didn't like it that much. Afterwards, me and my friends went out to eat after the dance. I would say it was a night to remember. -
My Farm Job
This was when I started working at the farm. I was surprised I took this job because I would have never seen myself doing work like this. I ended up liking the job and stuck with it.
