The term computer bug was first used by Grace Hopper I chose this becasue it is important we fiqured out what a bug is in a computer and spread the word around. -

The first electronic computer is created in Japan by Hideo Yamachito. I choose this becasue i think it is important that the firt electrical computer was invented. -
The first SIlicon Chip
The first integrated circuit, or silicon chip, is produced by the US Jack Kilby & Robert Noyce I think this is important becasue if we didnt have silicon chip, the computers wouldnt have turned out as good as they did in out generation. -

Douglas Engelbart invents and patents the first computer mouse (nicknamed the mouse because the tail came out the end) I chosse this becasue it is mportsnt that someone came up with the Computer mouse and was cleaver enough. -

IBM creates the first floppy disk to store memory I choose this becasue if they wouldnt habve invented this, we would of had a way to save memory. -

The Microsoft Corporation was founded April 4, 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen to develop and sell BASIC interpreters for the Altair 8800 I choose this becasue it is one of the biggest computer compnies. -

Apple introduces the Macintosh with mouse and window interface I choose this becasue these computers are famous today, and this is where they got started. -
PCs are sold in the U.S
Over 45 million PCs are in use in the United States. I choose this becasue people started buying computers. -
The first X-box
Bill Gates introduces the Xbox on January 7th I choose and think this is important becasue many people like video games and think they are the best things ever. -

Skype announces that it has over 100 million registered users.
