A group of 102 pilgrims sailed from Englandf to America, "the New Word", on the ship the Mayflower. The pilgrim left England becaue they wanted religious and political freedon. -
The pilgrims saw land in the itance.
They were very excited bacause their journey was near the end. The ship finally reached lan and some pilgrims left to explore the area.
The firt winter was very cold and 45 people died from the etreme temperatures an from hunger. But the pilgrims didn't lose hope. -

The British han 13 colonies on the east coast of North America and about two and a half million colonist lived there. -

Their leaders published the Declaration of Indepenence on this date. Then, the fighting started. -
