Charles Babbage KG FRS was an en English polymath. He was also an mathematician, philosopher, inventor and mechanical engineer. He is known and considered by some as the "father of the computer" , this title has come from the fact that he created the concept of a digital programmable computer. This payed the way for much things such as ENIAC in full electronic numerical integrator and computer, this is the first programmable general-propose electronic digital computer. -
Ada Lovelace
Agusta Ada King was an countess of Lovelace, she was an English mathematics and writer. Ada has been called the worlds first computer programmer, computer programmers write and test code that allows computer applications and programs to function. She wrote the worlds first machine algorithm for an early computer machine that only existed on paper. This happen in the 1840s and Ada was an woman so this was not easy for her. Ada died early because of cancer at the age of 37. -
