    The Greek genocide hurt many Christian Ottoman Greeks. In 1908, the Young Turks gained control of the government and to fight against Sultan Humid. The Greek Genocide took place in Greece from 1913 to 1922. The Ottoman Empire government had forced deportations, massacres, and other tortures.

    The Assyrian genocide murdered many Assyrians in the Ottoman Empire. The Young Turks rose again to kill and torture the Assyrians. The Assyrian genocide took place in the Ottoman Empire (Eastern Europe), from 1914-1920. The Young Turks wanted to rule the Ottoman Empire and slaughter the population.

    The Armenian genocide executed many Armenians. About 1.5 million Armenians were deported and slaughtered in the Ottoman Empire (Eastern Europe), from 1915-1917. Once again, the Young Turks wanted to rule and murder the population.

    The Holodomor genocide hurt many Ukrainians. The Holodomor took place in Ukraine from 1932-1933. Millions of Ukrainians died from starvation. People in Ukraine were forced to give up their individual farms and join collective farms. The genocide started from Joseph Stalin (leader of Soviet Union), creating a food shortage for everyone in Ukraine.

    The Cambodian genocide slaughtered people of education, religious minorities, or people who don't work. The Khmer Rouge (a communist group), took people to killing fields to be murdered when they were not useful anymore. The Khmer Rouge wanted to take over Cambodia. The Cambodian genocide took place in Cambodia from 1975-1979.

    Guatemalan Genocide 1981-1983
    The Guatemalan genocide started from the civil war in Guatemala. Later, there were protests and the protestors were killed by the Guatemalan army. The Guatemalan army started to murder Mayans. The genocide got to the army burning villages, farm animals, and more. This genocide took place in Guatemala from 1981-1983.

    The Bosnian Genocide slaughtered many Bosniaks (Bosnian Muslims). Serbia and Bosnian Serbs went out to kill the Bosniaks in Bosnia. The Bosnian Serbs wanted to dominate the Serbian state in the Balkans. The genocide took place in Bosnia from 1992-1995.

    The Rwandan genocide hurt both the Hutus and the Tutsis. The Hutus and the Tutsis both were killing each other. What caused the genocide was, that the Belgians enforced the Tutsis the take over because of their population. The genocide took place in Rwanda from early April 1994 to July 1994.

    The Darfur genocide killed and raped many Muslim African American women, men, and children in Sudan. The genocide took place from 2003-Present day. The non-Arab groups started to rebel against the Khartoum government. The government then recruited their militia called the Janjaweed. The genocide started from the unfair treatment the government was giving the Muslim Sudanese people.
