This led to the creation of the Ethernet that today allows users to share documents, printers, or internet connections.

    Optical character recognition and text-to-speech technology
    Invented by Raymond Kurzweil in 1976. This enable computers to read and recognize printed or typed characters. Which soon led to the creation of the Kurzweil Reading machine similar to a computer device that helped blind people. Today, this type of technology is used for example on google translate when the computer reads the words out loud. This also includes programs like Siri or Alexa in technology devices.

It was marketed as a personal computer which included color graphics, sound cards, expansion slots, etc. This helped our society today as most if not all PC's resemble this computer but in a different type of storage.     Invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1989. He developed a software language to create web pages which included text, pictures, sound and video to be easily accessible to users. It became available in 1991 creating a society of a powerful communication system through web pages. Today, our internet revolves around these web pages as we can find documents from many years ago. Still today, new information is brought to the internet through web pages and found with only "www".

    Invented by Ajay Bhatt in 1994. The USB came from a thought in which Bhatt wondered how much easier it would be to connect a peripheral device to a computer from a wall outlet. This soon led to the invention which made it easier for people to us computer gadgets such as printers and keyboards into hard drives or other networks. Today, USB's are common for saving work for education or work in general. It has created a space in computers to keep work safe.
