  • Review Rosters

    Review current rosters to verify if the students should continue to be a part of the GATE program. We will look over spring testing scores and start to write out the goals for the coming school year.

  • Meet with Current GATE Students

    I will meet with the current GATE students to see what they are wanting their goals to be this coming school year.

  • Open Nomination Window for New GATE Students

    Teachers and parents will be encouraged to submit nomination forms for students that they believe should be in the GATE program.

  • Send forms home to parents

    Students that have been submitted for nomination will have forms sent home for their parents to fill out.

  • Data Dig

    I will look at the nomination forms, the ISASP, MAP, and FAST scores to see what services the possible students and the current students would be eligible for.

  • Committee Meeting

    Core Teacher, GATE teacher, Admin will meet to see if the nominated students should be included in the GATE program.

  • Rolling Nominations

    Once teachers know their students better they can submit nominations based on classroom observations after first quarter.
