3.30AM- Queenslanders from 9th battalion were the first troops to land and transfer from the main ship + row to shore. -
Assault
4.30AM- When the troops got off the boat, and ran to shore, they were met by Turkish small arms fire -
Retreat
7.00AM- More troops crowd onto the beach, ANZAC forces dig in on the cliffs over the beach and fall back, as the Turkish reinforcements prove to be trouble for the Anzacs -
Falling Back And Death Is Upon Us
6.00PM- Up to 16,000 troops were on the beach. The Turks had the upper hand as the Anzacs found themselves being field upon. By this point, lots of Anzac troops were eliminated and killed off by the Turkish and forced to retreat. -
Reinforcements
4.45AM- Turksih shrapnel was raining down ANZAC care and the turks move reinforcements into the area. The ANZACS were trouble and were slowly dying and killed by the Turkish fire
