    All TK-6th grade classes will have access to 1-2 chromebook carts per grade level.
  • Digital Peer Mentorship

    Digital Peer Mentorship
    Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes become digital peer mentors to students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Classes meet a minimum of twice a month to increase digital skills and work on a collaborative project. The school DLC will facilitate the mentorship program with the assistance of the teachers.
  • Coding Club

    Coding Club
    Students interested in learning how to code will be able to meet weekly and work on creating a project that will be entered into the District Coding Competition.
  • Community Partnerships

    Community Partnerships
    Community partnerships are created for each grade level. Real world problems are discussed and students work to find possible solutions. They must collaborate and are encouraged to be divergent thinkers. In the end, digital presentations are shown to community members to demonstrate various solutions.
  • Franklin Goes Digital

    Franklin Goes Digital
    All newsletters, flyers, announcements will be updated digitally on the school website. Parents will need to check the school site to stay informed. Text and email messages will be sent out when something new is posted. Uploading of information will be done every Friday to prepare for the next week. All the money saved from printing will be invested into purchasing technology for students to use.
  • Dual Immersion - Language Lab

     Dual Immersion - Language Lab
    Dual Immersion Program (Spanish) arrives at Franklin. Students participate in language lab where they Skype weekly with students from a Spanish speaking country and learn from each other using both languages. Students may also work on activities using language software to help increase their language development.

    1:1 Technology devices will be available to all students to use daily to enhance learning.
