Television has been set to be the first media exposed to chidren, since parents think that it is more convenient for their child to learn the ABC’s and numbers through the screen for them to manage their time easily. -
RADIO
Besides television, news, stories and other information was not yet into screen and local news were penetrated through the radio. -
LETTERS
In every occasion in school, pupils would give out thank you letters to their teachers, parents, and to co-pupils accompanied with flowers in order for them to show their appreciation for the efforts of that special someone. -
PRE-COMPUTER
Pre-computers were the introduction to modern computers today. It contained educational software where one could learn how to add or subtract or do the math, do the spelling and practice your typing skills. -
GAMEBOY
Gameboy is the early PSP during this year where it was for fun and entertainment and it contained prominent games like tetris, snake and pokemon that was very captivating for children to play with. -
CELLPHONES
2009 is the “cellphone keypad era”. Before today’s well-known touchscreens, keypad was used beforehand but it was only for calling and texting - giving out “group messages (GM)” entailing bible verses and inspirational quotes. -
DVD’s and CD’s
DVD’s and CD’s were used for storage of information, like educational channels “Sineskwela” and Knowledge Channel which happened to be the medium for easily laying out the discussions for the students to understand. It was also noted for movies where many would prefer this unlike going to the theatre to watch a certain movie that would cost much money. -
LAPTOP
Laptop is very important for students who have many requirements to be passed. This is used to make documents and PowerPoint presentations that are really needed for students to pass in a particular subject. -
FACEBOOK
Due to curiosity unto what was trendy, one was exposed to meet friends in the online world. -
SELFIE CAMERA APPLICATION
Applications like Camera 360, Retrica, and B612 were established to make low-key selfies and to enhance pictures taken. -
YOUTUBE
Another media to stream videos and watch educational videos in order to understand further a certain topic. -
QUIPPER SCHOOL
A virtual classroom where quizzes and lessons were made digitally leaving no hassle for teachers to collect papers and compute scores. -
PROJECTORS
This is for teachers to project their presentation and be clearly seen from afar by students for the discussion to go smoothly and be able to show graphics for students to understand the topic. -
PRINTER
As your grade level rises, subjects demand more requirements like research papers and documents on assignments that are needed to be submitted printed. -
INSTAGRAM
A social media where images can be shared and liked. This is a very helpful platform besides facebook for a person to be updated by the happenings in the lives of their loved ones and idols. -
TWITTER
Another form of social media that is used to connect to people with the same interests. This process of connecting people who are complete strangers can be done with the use of hashtags. -
SCHOOL TELEVISION
Instead of using projector and visual aids, teachers make it easy to discuss lessons and project their PowerPoint Presentations through the TV screen where students would easily access their lessons. -
Wireless Fidelity (WiFi)
This is to access information from the internet to search any body of knowledge that is beyond our capabilities of understanding. The WiFi has been a very eminent media for students to be able to do their homeworks online. -
ONLINE CLASSROOM
Famous among classrooms online is the Google classroom, where dispersing of information is made easy by the teachers and passing of requirements can be done digitally and for teachers to conveniently record scores of students all in a few clicks in the computer.
