The Z1 was the first mechanical computer built by Konrad Zuse. This computer was considered the first binary programmable computer and was fully mechanical, no electricity.
-
The ENIAC was the first large scale computer to run at electronic speed without being slowed by any mechanical parts. The ENIAC is believed to have run more calculations than all mankind had done up to this point in time. The ENIAC was an improvement from the Z1 since it ran at electronic speed while the Z1 was fully mechanical.
-
The Transistor helped improve electronic devices since it was able to replace the bulky and fragile vacuum tubes that were used in electronic devices. The purpose of the transistor was to amplify or switch electrical signals and powers.
-
The manchester baby was one of the first electronic stored programed computers. Instead of most computers running on paper, tape, or being hard wired in, this computer was able to run the first program electronically stored in its memory.
-
The Programma 101 was considered the first mass-marketed desktop computer. This first desktop computer was a calculator that anyone could purchase. This was better than the manchester baby since any was able to purchase this computer to preform calculations for them.

The first personal computer (PC) also know as the Altair 8800. This was one of the first customizable microcomputers. This microcomputer was aimed to hobbyistis since it was one of the first "build it yourself" computer. This microcomputer was also the worlds first computer kit to rival commercial computers. Since the Altair 8800 was a microcomputer it was able to do more than just perform calculations like the programma 101.

This computer was created by Steve Wozniak. When this computer first came it out, it came pre-assembled unlike other computers at the time, and it also came as a single mother board. This computer wasn't sold as a kit as most computers during its time were. Unlike other mircocomputers where you have to purchase premium to have it put together, the Apple 1 was sold assembled to remove the trouble of having to put the microcomputer together yourself.
-
This mircocomputer was a machine that was able to process information faster than other microcomputers in the 1960's. This computer could not only be used by hobbyists but it could also have also been used as a business tool. This computer was more affortable and portable when compared to other computers.
-
This computer was first introduced in 1985. The Amiga 1000 at first was meant to become a game console but was later on evolved into a computer. The Amiga 1000 was able to show comlex images and animations that other computers couldn't. Unlike the IBM computer the Amiga 1000 was able to show images while the IBM could only show simple images.

The pentium microprocessor was a great starter for beginners starting on progamming. The pentium microprocessor was affordable and universal making it accessible to anyone. The difference between this microprocessor and Amiga 1000 was that this microprocessor was not suitable for gaming. The microprocessor was designed to PC servers that needed to serve multiple users and needed the speed for graphic intensive applications
-
The MacBook Pro was thin and didnt weigh much compared to older computers. This computer was far more advanced when compared to the pentium microprocessor and the Amiga 1000. The MacBook Pro also had a camera so you could have video conferences on the go. Compared to other computers in this timeline this computer was on of the first to be able to have a camera and also stream shows and movies.

The MacBook Air is able to perform high performance jobs with minimal battery usage. When compared to other computers the MacBook Air is able to stream multiple full quality 4k videos without dropping frames. The pixel density also changed making texts show up sharp and clear. The MacBook Air is also able to adjust the brightness and color temperature to make it look more natural based on your enviorment.
