Charles Babbage was a mathematician and inventor credited as the first person to make the first automatic digital computer. In 1812 to 1813 which could do mathematical computations and had plans to make other engineers but never got to build them because of funds.

The Atanasoff-Berry computer (or the ABC) was an early digital computer and is considered the first purposed electronic computer invented by John Vincent Atanasoff and his graduate assistant Clifford E. Jay Wright Forrester
James Forrester joined the Navy when he took interest in a project that would needed some extra storage but also needed to run with the computer smoothly and invented the current magnetic storage in computers today. ENIAC
During world War II John Mauchly and John Presper made the Electrical Numerical Integrator And calculator for the military to calculate Artillery-firing tables. This was a big evolution because this computer could do more than just be a calculator. It was also built around the time of the ABC but ended becoming the ABC's "rival".

The first laptop
In Japan Toshiba wanted to make something that will catch the markets attention because at the time desktops were really popular, and so she and her team made a laptop. A new internet browser by the name of Mosaic was released which was one of the first internet browser to come out on computers and changed the way of computer engineering with figuring out how it worked. With this you were able to see many files directly from the source instead of downloading them. The iPhone
In 2007 Steve Jobs creates the iPhone which was a mobile phone with a camera and web-browsing abilities and was also touch screen.
