Translation: Hello, My mother is born for the bitterwater people and my father for the mexican people. Declaring me half native american and hispanic. I carry my tradition inside with me at all times and introduce where i come from whereever i go. -
When i was around four years old, my mother, sister and I paked up and headed back to our real home: the Navajo reservation. This place has many downs as well as ups. Because our rich culture makes up for our lack of communication to te outside world.

I remember this day as very hot. But also a positive outlook for the future. I was two motnhs away from high school and i couldn't be more excited. (i was so wrong though)

I should say life really started when i found my now boyfriend. Our common interests brought forth great opportunites for us both. He proves to be a blessing everyday and everyday itself is an adventure with him. With him, we go new places and highlight each others strenghts. We have a few disagreements, but no one is perfect.

i've always loved music, and i finally found my true calling when i picked up the dog house(double bass).
I remeber trying to begin on the guitar, but i just couldn't get it. It amazes me how much i progressed on this beautiful instrument. -
Along with my boyfriend and i, we created what we always wanted to do. CREATE A BAND!
We started when i brought home an upright bass from scool (which i never returned) and scratch. I can recall first playing together how we sounded like a train about to fall off it's tracks (pretty bad).
The four of us have known each other for years, but as a band, not mearly a year. -
When i attended regular public school, i took an advance orchestra class. That school year was the very first time i picked up the bass, but lucky for me, my dedication prevailed enough for me to join them on a trip down to California. I've never been there before so itwas exciting to me. I was getting to go somewhere new and for a cause that ilove. i'll never forget what i saw and the experience i went through, it mademy passion more music stronger.

When my mother and I made a trip down to Phoenix, we stopped by our old house. Of course i don'tremember but it made me feel a certain way. Because i got to se where i born and the house we lived in for a short time. It didnt feel like home because it's not where i grew up. But it was nice to see.

For months while in a regular school seting, made me feel trapped.
I found true liberation when i began school through Primavera. It's truly a blessing for me to have this much liberation, because my dedication to finish high school i feel is great. -
Playing this event was a big deal to the band and i. It meant that we have what it takes to play with the big boys. Although when we got there, they made us go on stage immediatly, which was okay because we still got to play.
Each show is an adventure, ths one was just a little more special.
