Initial/ Diagnostic Assessment
Students will undertake an initial/ diagnostic assessment in the first week of the course, so that any learning needs are identified as quickly as possible. -
Component 3 Assessment and Evaluation
Students will perform their Component 3 Extract 3 and submit their Reflective Reports for assessment. After completion of the assessment, students will complete a survey on the delivery of Component 3. -
Component 2 Assessment and Evaluation
Students will perform their devised piece of theatre for Component 2 and submit their Working Notebooks for assessment. After the completion of Component 2, students will complete a survey about the delivery of this component. -
Component 1 Exam and Evaluation
Students will undertake exam preparation leading to the exam (11th June). During the week commencing 21st May (the week before the May Half Term) students will complete a survey about the delivery of this component. -
Whole Course Evaluation
Students will complete a survey that focuses on the delivery of the entire A Level -
Component 1 Exam Results Analysis
Once results are published, the teacher will analyse the results and compare them to the students' minimum target grades and ALIS. -
Course Review and Quality Improvement Plan
Data collected from the completed surveys and exam results will be used to feed into the Course Review and Quality Improvement Plan for the sequential year of teaching.
