First day of Freshman Year
My first day at Etowah High school, it's a real blur to remember what actually happened that day but it was overwhelming to experience a whole new world. -

Traveling to Mexico
This was my first trip alone. It was for my birthday, I wanted to celebrate with my cousins. I've learned so much, I didn't have to rely on anyone to take care of me, I've met amazing little kids that changed my life. My aunt is a first grade teacher and I fell in love with every kid. They wrote my letters saying how their dream is to go to the U.S and have a better life for them and to help out their family. For 1st graders. they dream big and I know that all on them can fulfill their dreams. -
First day of Senior Year
When I came through the doors of Etowah, I knew that this year would be the best year for me and it has. The road has been rocky with homework, family life, friends, and jobs, but I can still say that this year was my best. -
My First Job
My first job was at Burger King. My job gave me many skills that I need for my future, I've learned many communication skills so that I wouldn't be shy anymore. I've learned that you have to fight for what you want, even if it's money, and to learn to be patient. Many sleepless nights, coming home at 3 in the morning and a check waiting for me at the end of the week.Hard work got me through a whole year on the job, but it also distracted me and caused my to fail a class. -
Run or Dye
Running a 5K doesn't seem like a big deal, but it is for me. After running it with my best friend, I learned that I can do anything that I set my mind to. If you were to tell me that I would run a 5k two years ago, I would of laughed in your face but this is a big accomplishment for me. It makes me feel like I CAN doa anything. -
Graduation
Graduation day, where the last 4 years have paid off and it's time to prove it when you walk. There have been many times where I didn't care for school and wanted to drop out, but I wanted to make my parents proud and set an example for my cousins and brother that even though it will be hard, it's always worth it in the end. -
