After being deported into Auschwitz, Vladek is forced to work in a tin shop. -

Vladek is betrayed by smugglers and are turned in to the Nazi's and are later taken to Auschwitz. -

After working in the tin shop, Vladek volunteers to work at the Auschwitz shoe shop in hopes of seeing his wife Anja. -
Auschwitz-Buchenwald Death March
Elie Wiesel and His father along with thousands of other Jews are forced to walk nearly 50 miles in freezing temperatures and little food and water. -
Elie's father dies
Elie's falls asleep on the night of January 28th, wakes up the next morning and his father is gone. -
