    Moving to a big city was a big change for someone who spend about 2 years in a small, quiet village. I can only imagine my reaction as cars drove by in numbers that I wasnt used to, or how tall, big, and clse to us the buildings were. +4

    A small ear piercing cry filled my ears as I saw my moms big belly had turned into a smaller version of myself. I was told to call her “Clarabel” and that I was now an Ate (Big sister)+6

    I cant imagine how little me endured a 7 hour ride from Calgary to Fortmc Murry. I can only bet that I was screaming “ARE WE THERE YET” as we passed several hundred trees on the highway. +7

    I remmeber standing infront of two big blue doors as I started into a place full of tables, toys, and a bunch of other stuff I didnt know. I entered quietly as a nice lady appeared infront of me and asked me to choose a spot on the carpet. +7

    Sitting in a classroom just a small distance away from the flames that would soon burn my childhood home down, I remember crying because everyone else was. The sky was orange and kids were being put on busses to be taken downtown farther from the heat. +11

    It was 7:00 in the morning and we were supposed to be getting ready for school, but my parents were nowhere to be found. Were they in the garage? No. My granda dialed them on my phone and thats when we found out we had a new addition to the family. +12
