    No Child Left Behind Act

This act was very important to children with disabilities because it made sure that all schools improve student performance and in doing so it placed more pressure on schools to make sure that all students were progressing at or above the rate that the government wanted them to. They did this by enforcing penalties on schools that did not meet the requirements. However it has ended because lawmakers are unsure of how to reform the law a better way. Source: (Chen, 2022)
