Get in Car Accident
Got in a bad car accident with my grandma and had to go to the hospital. Luckily we both ended up being okay. My grandma helped take care of me all the time and has a huge impact on my life. She is my second mother and I look up to her for all that she does. -
Sit up for First Time
Playing with my toys in the living room and I am finally able to sit up all by myself. -
Sister was born
My little sister was born. I was so excited that I was going to be a big sister and have someone else to play with. -
First Day of School
Started Kindergarten. Cried forever because I did not want to leave my mom and grandma. -
Parent's Divorce
My parents got a divorce and it was a very hard adjustment to get used to. Was very close to mom, but had to go to my dad's house every other weekend. -
Brother was Born
One of my little brother's was born. This was very exciting for the whole family because he was going to be a Millinium baby. My family is very complicated and we were going through a lot of stressful times, so a baby brought a lot of joy for all of us. -
Started Dance
Started taking dance lessons like my big sister. Was very nervous and shy to perform in front of people. -
Met my best friend
Started the third grade and met my best friend Monica. She has had a huge impact on my life and has helped me through many good and bad things in my life. I know I can always count on her. -
September 11th
Getting ready for school and found out that the World Trade Center was crashed into. Was a very emotional day for everyone and was very confused by what happened. It was hard to comprehend, but I knew that it hurt me and many others. This is something I will always remember. -
Disneyland
I got to go to Disneyland for the first time with my entire family. I loved all of the rides and got to see all my favorite Disney characters. Family vacations have always been something I look forward to. -
First Day of High School
My first day of high school at Xavier College Preparatory. I was very nervous to go to an all girls school and start this new chapter in my life. -
First Cruise
I went on my first cruise to Cabo and Catalina Island with my family. About 18 of us went so it was a very fun time for all of us. We made so many fun memories that I will always remember. It was a great bonding experience and I was able to meet a lot of new people. -
Pat's Run
Did my first Pat's run with my mom, sister, and boyfriend. It was a great experience and was for a really good cause. Was very moving and a great way to support Pat's legacy and commitment to leadership and service. -
High School Graduation
Graduated from Xavier and was very excited to go to college. Was sad to leave behind all of my friends, but knew it would be a great experience and journey. -
First Day of College
Started my first day at ASU. I moved into my dorm and was on my own for the first time. I learned a lot of responsibility and met a lot of new friends. This made me grow up a lot and change my way of doing things. -
Nanny Job
I got my first nanny position with a family of three children. THis was my first job outside of my family's daycare business. I was very happy to be doing something outside of the family. It gave me a sense of independence and responsibility. I was so excited to be working with children since it is what I love. -
Started Volunteering
I started to volunteer at The Salvation Army Kroc Center and it was an amazing experience. I got to help those children who are less fortunate with reading, their homework, being active, and building positive relationships. I learned so much from them and it was great being able to make such a positive impact on their life.
