Cognitive Development
When I was five I lived in Philippines with my mother and sister, in AIIAS campus. Mean while my father was in Iceland working. My mother, sister and I would sleep in the same bed because it would only be the three of us in our apartment. Before bedtime during a Sunday evening I realized I had homework due the next day for preschool. I told my mother I would off the lights before I went to bed. I was very organized. -

Physical Development
When I was six years old I learned how to ride a bicycle. It was in the Philippines in the campus my mother went to school, AIIAS. My friend Ted Noah was teaching me how to ride a bicycle. One thing he forgot to teach me was how to use the breaks. I asked my mother and my nanny to come out and see me ride my bike, I was so excited and wanted to show off that I forgot to mention that I didn’t know how to use the breaks. I crashed into the little candy store that was by the pavement. -
Socioemotional Development
I was seven years old and had just moved to Iceland three years ago. I started going to public school. One day I got back home from school very happy and broke the news to my family that I wasn’t a Christian, of course that terrified my parents that they found a Adventist school and enrolled me right away. I had a hard time adjusting because I just made great friends in the public school I was currently in, but I adjusted sooner then I thought I would.
