    Computer Assisted Language Learning is an approach in language learning in which a computer presents material to the learner or where the computer is used as a tool to aid language learning. This type of CALL is implemented behaviourist model in teaching, featured repetitive language drills, referred to as drill and practice.
  • Communicative CALL

    Communicative CALL
    Communicative CALL is mainly focused on the personal education with the help of personal computers which was more affordable in that time. Focus with these machines was the aim of the CALL while using them not what was the student did with it. Communicative Call differs from other because it can be used with cognitive skill in teaching, and with help of this skills it created different approaches such as CLT, TPR and CLL.
  • Integrative CALL

    The development of the CALL was still uprising in the 1980s. In this era there was a move towards constructivist theory which is transition of information into personal knowledge. These events created different approaches such as Task-based, Project-based, and Content-based. These approaches pushed learners through authentic environment and also integrate various skills of language learning and use, which led to a new perspective on technology and language learning.

But it has its own disadvantage, most teacher do not know how to integrate MALL into their teaching sessions because of lack of guide or just they do not know how to.
