John Locke helping people to have a voice, is what I believe helped start a movement for people to be independent of their learning. -
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
I chose this movement, because people were able to come together with the same goals in mind. Having more people for the same cause work together is more effective than one person trying to make changes. -
Public Law 85-926
Without teachers students would not be in class to learn. With this law I believe it would have been more difficult for special education teachers to receive support. The support that is provided for these teachers helps many students that have many different needs. -
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
After many changes I believe IDEA is an important Act. Being able to have an education and support available to children and adults with disabilities can help them live as independently as they can. -
Every Student Succeds Act
This is an important Act, I believe all students should be able to navigate through their education with any help they need. With the support of this Act it helps motivate the teachers and students to continue to push forward, and I believe if you are moving forward it is harder to look back.
