The first Electronic Computer is created
The first electronic computer is created in Japan by Hideo Yamachito (sometime in 1950) I chose this because i wanted to show when things finally got electric. -
First Computer Game: Spacewar!
The first computer game ever invented by Steve Russell (sometime in 1962) I chose this because i wanted to show when people finally started using the computer for entertainment purposes. -
The First Word Processer
IBM introduces the first word processor (sometime in 1964) I chose this because i wanted to show when the computer was actually started to be used for creating documents. -
The Floppy Disk was invented
The nicknamed "Floppy Disk" (named that for it's flexibility) was invented by Alan Shugart. (sometime in 1971) I chose this because i wanted to show how fast the were coming out with secondary storage. -
E-mail was Invented
E-mail was invented by Ray Tomlinson (Sometime in 1971) I chose this because i wanted to show one of the most known and most used feature on the computer. -
Apple's Macintosh computer comes out.
(sometime in 1984) Apple's Macintosh computer comes out to the public. It is a lot more inexpensive than other computers at the time. I chose this to show how far Apple had come in their inventions. -
Java is introduced
Java is introduced (sometime in 1995) I chose this to show when Java, the program that we use a lot was made. -
Amazon.com is Founded
Amazon.com is founded by Jeff Bezos (sometime in 1995) I chose this to show when shopping sites started popping up. -
Apple releases the iMac
Apple releases the iMac (sometime in 1998) I chose this to show how far Apple has come on their computers and the progress they have made. -
Google is Founded
Google is founded by Sergey Brin and Larry Page on September 7, 1998. I chose this to show when the world's best internet browser was invented. -
Over 100 million users on Skype
Skype announces that it has over 100 million registered users (sometime in 2006) I chose this to show how far programs like Skype have come.
