Why: It was interensting how the original Z3 was destroyed in the bombing raid in Berlin. -

During World War II, the U.S. Navy approached the Massachusetts Institute of Technology about building a flight simulator to train bomber crews.
Why: I thought it was cool how they were thinking of flight simulators back then. -
AT&T Computer
Felker and Harris program TRADIC, AT&T Bell Laboratories announced the first fully transistorized computer, TRADIC.
Why: I never knew AT&T worked on a computer. -

Jack Kilby created the first integrated circuit at Texas Instruments
Why: The first integrated circuit was made about 60 years ago! -
Precursor to Minicomputer
The precursor to the minicomputer, DEC´s PDP-1 sold for $120,000.
Why: I think it's crazy how much it cost. -
IBM 1360 Photo-Digital Storage System
IBM delivered the first of its photo-digital storage systems to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Why: Because it relates to what we watched today. -
