    Elvis was the King of Rock and Roll. Elvis was the most iconic rock and roll singer. He was talented when he was young so he had great potential as he grew older. He lived in Memphis, Tennessee and died in August 16, 1977. Elvis was important to history because he had 94 gold singles, 40 gold albums, and had starred in 33 films. Elvis impacted American society by being a very big influence in pop culture and rockn' roll. Also, he was adored by all the young women because they'd have a crush.

    The countries involved in the UN were the US, England, France, Russia, and China. The UN was a group of countries that were aiming to be a peace keeping organization. The U.N. was organized to have six bodies. The UN took place in New York City in 1945. The UN was important to history because they would try and solve disputes between countries. In addition, UN would solve disease problems. U.N. impacted American society by helping problems around the world. They also stopped wars from erupting.

    The countries in NATO/Warsaw Pact were WWII Allies and the U.S.S.R. The NATO would have a military and political alliance between each other. This would also be the same for the U.S.S.R. and the Soviet Satellites. The event was in Europe and the year that the NATO was founded was in 1949 and the Warsaw pact was in 1955. This was important because it was West Europe against the East Europe. This impacted American politics because we now had a politician alliance. There's also a military alliance.

    People involved were Joe McCarthy and the US. Joe McCarthy was a senator from Wisconsin and had a list of 57 department employees that are communist. Joe McCarthy could not prove the claim so he was censured and lost power. This was in the US in 1953. This was important because it was a big deal to make this claim in his position of power that he has. This impacted american society by having a red scare. This also affected american economy by having people fired by suspicion of being communist.

    People involved were Oliver Brown, NAACP, and 13 other plaintiffs. Oliver was asking an all-white school to let her daughter to there. The NAACP would help file a lawsuit for the complaint. The event took place in Topeka, Kansas in 1954. This is imperative since segregation violated the 14th amendment. In addition, it overturned the Plessy vs Ferguson case. This case impacted american society by having also schools integrated. It also would help make African-Americans equal to other ethnicity.

In the event, the USSR gave Cuba weapons and missiles since they close to the U.S. Also, the U.S. wanted to stop USSR from giving Cuba weapons so they put a blockade around Cuba. The event was in Cuba. This was important since that was the closest event to get in a nuclear war. This impacted american politics since they weren't sure if they should to war. American society was also impacted since they were worried that everyday they might go to war.

At the war, it was hard fight in the jungle in Vietnam since it was a dense jungle so there was search and destroy missions. The event took place in Vietnam in 1968 and ended in 1973. The event was important because a domino theory had taken place if North Vietnam won. It impacted american politics by wasting billions of dollars on a war.

    People involved of the assassination were MLK and James E. Ray. MLK had visited Tennessee to support a sanitation strike. MLK stepped out of the motel room that he was staying in and James shot him. The event was on Apr. 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. The event was important since the civil rights movement ended from this. The assassination affected American society because the assassination stopped peaceful strikes. Also, it affected American politics by having the most expensive investigation.

    Countries involved were Iraq, Kuwait, and the US. The dictator of Iraq had sent 100,000 troops into Kuwait and that is an oil producer. George H.W. Bush didn't want Iraq to Spread south so US troops were sent to Saudi Arabia. The event was in the Middle East and in 1990. The importance was to stop Iraq spreading its influence. This impacted American government because it costed billions to rebuild and $700 million for oil spills. It affected American economy by losing 11 million barrels of oil.

    People involved were Bill Clinton and the Democrat party. During his presidency, Bill Clinton had sent 20,000 troops to Bosnia and had the Health Care Reform passed. Bill started his presidency in 1992 and ended in 2000 but was a Gov. of AS. This president was important since he was the second president put on trial. This impacted american economy by lowering the deficit to almost $0. By lowering the deficit, he impacted american society also by raising taxes which many people did not like.

    People involved were the US, Iraq, and Afghanistan. George W Bush and the Minister of Britain had declared war on Afghanistan and Iraq. During the war, there was no evidence of mass destruction weapons. The event took place on 2001 in Afghanistan and 2003 in Iraq. The event was important because involved the death of Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Ladin. This affected american politics because the cost was $4-6 trillion in the war. Another reason is because there were 6,882 casualties as of 2016.

    The place involved of hurricane Katrina was southern United States. What happened was that there was a levee failure and the hurricane flooded 80% of NOLA. After the hurricane, 70 countries pledged monetary donations to NOLA. This event took place in 2005 in Southern US. This event was important because it affected 90,000 square miles of the US. This affected american society by having many areas flooded and killing 1,836 people. This affected american economy by costing $81 billion in damage.
