The baby boom impacted society because the number of babies in america increased tremendously. American families were building families after WWII was finally over.

    There are 193 countries involved in the United Nations but that number grows every year.The United Nation is a peace keeping organization that was started after WWII to solve diseases and hunger problems, improve education, provide vaccines, and solve disputes between countries. The UN was started in 1945 at the Yalta. This event was very important because it helped other countries. United Nations impacted politics because it help keep countries away from war.

    Oliver Brown and 13 other plaintiffs went to the local school board asking to allow African American students into the all white school the school board refused to listen to that plaintiffs and so they took them to court it was there after a long time the supreme court desegregated all schools. Brown Vs. Board took place in Topeka, Kansas during 1954. This event was important because it desegregated all schools. Brown vs. Board impacted society by allowing all children to get equal education.

    Medicare was set up by Lyndon Johnson in 1966 to help pay hospital bills of citizens. The importance of Medicare was that it helped older people because they paid much more as younger people. Medicaid was set up by Social security administration in 1965. This was set up to help low-income people pay medical bills. This was important because it is the biggest source of funding for low-income medical. Medicare and Medicaid impacted society by help people recover from medical issues.

    Martin Luther King Jr. was shot on April 4th, 1968 in Memphis Tennessee, by James Earl Ray. On the day of April 4th,Martin Luther King was standing outside when James shot Martin on the his jaw severing the spinal cord Martin Luther King Jr. died at 7:05. This was very important because at the time he was really the only civil rights activist during that time period. Martin Luther King's assassination impacted society because he had stood up for equality.
