  • Fort Sumter

    The confederacy won the war and it was an easy win for them. It was in Charleston Harbor, South Carolina. Encouraged more people to join the union army. It was the first war.

  • Gettysburg

    Was a turning point (the beginning of the end for the South) and ther South lost 1/3 of their men.

  • Vicjsburg

    Set major attack on the city and ordered a siege, this proved that the north could fight with out access to supplies, and now the controlled the Mississippi.

  • Appomattox Courthouse

    It was an easy win for the union and it took place at Appomattox Courthouse. This was the last battle in the war. It fell after the capture of Richmond and was the surrender of Lee and his men
