-Cabot makes his second voyage to North America -Studies show that Cabot spent two years exploring North America's Eatern coast before he retured to Europe -Set a sail with a fleet of five vessels -Studies show that Cabot spent two years exploring North America's Eastern Coast before he returned to Europe -His voyage portrayed that he hadn't found it an easy route to Asia -Found codfish/trees but not great cities which would provide wealth/ power. His voyage was considered a disappointment. -

Jacque Cartier
-French explorer; Cartiers first voyage -Cartier meets a native chief named Donaconna -Sailing under the flag of France throughout Canada's eastern Coasts in search of a North American passage of Asia. -Planted a cross at Gaspe, which angered Iroquios cheif Donaconna. -Allowed Cartier to continue his journey and bring Donaconnas two sons back to France with him for the winter. (1534-35). -

Martin Frobisher
-Martin Frobisher of England makes the first three attempts to find the northwest passage, sailing as far as Hudson Strait. -May 27th the expedition consisting the ships; Gabrial and Michael with 150 men including miners, soldiers, etc. -Sailed by the North of Scotland and reached "Hails Island" at the mouth of Frobisher Bay. -Few days later the county and South side of the Frobisher bay was taken possesion of in the Queens name. -
Samuel De Champlain
-Samuel De Champlain founds Quebec City. -He was a French navigator, Cartographer, Soldier, Exploer, etc. -He made the first accurate map of the Coast. -Helped establish the settlements. -Champlain landed at the "point of Qubec". -Set about strengthening the area by building three main buildings and called them the "Habitation". the very beinging of Quebec.
