Dillon Museum
Students will visit the Dillon library, where the librarian has compiled files of information on the community & has a college student to shadow & assist. Students will need to take notes, photos, & scan some materials. -
Guest Author Speaker
Local author Steve Morehouse will inspire students on organizing research, his sources, stories from his book, local assistance, & how to do a bibliography -
Bibliography & roles
Groups will divide the workload evenly,then begin to research
Checklists will be distributed for role assignments & organization to begin.
Students will be using bibliography guide to cite sources -
Research & video role
Video role will be given instructions for videoing an interview or the building iteself for the Prezi -
Research & photos
Those of the photo role will be shown how to scan and save photos for Prezi -
Research & timeline
The timeline role will be shown how to complete it in Excel

Arrange for interviewees to come to classroom & filming if needed. -
