Birth
I was born at 8:30 A.M. on December 2, 1993. I was born in St. Agnes Hospital in Fond Du Lac, Wi. I weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long. The average kid is about 7 and a 1/2 lbs. and 20 inches long at birth. So i guess you could say i was just above average. -
My 1st Tooth
I got my first tooth at 7 months. Most children will get their first tooth within their first 6 or 7 months of being born. I guess you could say i was pretty normal when it came to my oral development. -
My First Words
My first words were "gaga" and "dadda." I started talking before most kids normally do. Most kids first word has something to do with their parents, like either "mommy" or "daddy". Most kids can say a few words in addition to mommy & daddy by about 12 months. At about 15 months they may begin to talk energetically and at 18 months a kids vocabulary consists of anywhere from 10 to 20 words. -
Started Walking
I started to walk for the first on New Year's Day 1995. That was almost exactly 13 months after i was born. My parents were so excited for me! The average child will begin to walk at about 12-13 months with help and about 15 months without assistance. By about 18 months most kids can start to run but obviously not too fast because of the fact their just so young. -
Significant Doing
My first significant doing was when i got my first bed of my own. I was so happy that i no longer had to stay in a crib. My first bed was a car bed which at the time was for me pretty much the coolest thing ever! This is yet again one of those events that you just can not predict. -
First Day Of School
My first time going out into the real world. My first day of school I didn't want to go because I didn't want to leave my parents and be all alone. I didn't want to go to school just like I do now. I guess I haven't changed all that much after all. Most kids are about 5 when the enter Kindergarten and are usually either really happy or really sad to begin school. Kids are normally sad to be leaving their parents, but at the same time happy because they get the feeling they are a big kid now. -
First Significant Experience with Death
My Grandpa Krivanek's death was my first big dealing with death. At the time I didn't really know what was going on but now I know way more about it. This is another one of those events you can just not predict. -
The Start Of My Baseball Career
My first year playing baseball. I made the B-team when most of my friends were in Coach Pitch. Usually most kids who like baseball will join whenever it is available to them in their community. -
First Notable Injury
At Justin Weber's birthday party i crashed his four-wheeler head first into a tree and got a huge contusion above my left eye from it. I couldn't see out of my left eye for about a week. It was one of the most drastic moments in my life up to this point. This is one of those events in a person's life that can just not be controlled when it will, or might not, ever happen. -
My Confirmation
My confirmation was one of the big moments in my life because religion is important to me and getting confirmed makes me a true member of the church. Most lutherans like me will get confirmed at about the start of highschool or appx. 14 yrs old. -
My License
When i got my license i was so proud of myself. I was also very excited to get my first car which was a 1994 Mercury Topaz. Everyone else was happy for me to because they no longer had to drive me around everywhere. Most kids will get their license anywhere between the ages of 16-18. You must be at least 16 to try for a license.
