Cristopher Columbus discovers America
Cristopher Columbus who lived in Spain believed that if he sailed west he would wind up in Asia. So he sailed three ships west and he found land which was America. If Christopher Columbus did not do this most of us would not be in America. -

When the pilgrims came to America it changed todays life because it helped populate America and now we celebrate Thanksgiving. -

Lewis and Clark's expidetion was important because before we did not have Oregon and now we do. -

The Louisiana Purchase is important to us today because before the United States was only about one-third of what it is now. -

The Mexican-American War is important today because if it never happened the united states would be 1/3 smaller than it is now -
Civil War
During the Civil war Abraham Lincoln Abolished slavery. With out this moment in history People would not be treated equal today.
