The British Soldiers in Boston were trying to control a riot when it begain to get violent and they opened fire, killing 5 people. This is when the British goverment stoped salutary neglect and begain a more hands on approch to the colonies. -

A group of Colonist desgised as Indians went aboad a British ship and throw hundres of dollars of tea in to the river as a revolt against the Townshend Act. -
