Trip home from the hospital
The very first trip I made was the one home from the hospital. -

My first birthday, I was touched by the Pope when he came to SC.

The Judds pack it up and move it out to Mobile, AL from Spartanburg, SC
My father owned a Mack Truck dealership in Spartanburg. When he was forced to sell his business, we relocated to Mobile, AL which was close to my mom's family in Birmingham and my father picked up where he left off in Spartanburg selling trucks. -
Not only my mom's 42nd birthday, but also the day we moved back to Spartanburg, SC.
The day of this move is actually my earliest memory. I was almost four and I can remember driving down the street that was the street I grew up on. I can remember what I was wearing ( a pink and white checkered outfit with a watermelon on it )and I know my hair was in pig tails. -
Just before 3rd grade I switched to the school where my mom is a teacher.

I went on a six week trip with my mom and grandma to the Wild West.
My mom, grandma, and I went on a trip around the US that took six weeks. My mom was so strong. She managed to keep up with my rebellious ten year old self, take care of her 80 year old mother, and continually be planning our trip as we went. I wonder how much rest she really got that summer? -
My parents got divorced and my dad moved to Birmingham, AL.
I always thought it was strange that my dad moved to Birmingham because that is where my mom's family is. My mom actually stayed in Spartanburg which is where my dad's family lives. Pretty backwards if you ask me. -
Right before my eighth grade year, my mom, grandma, and I went on another trip around the US and spent some time in NYC.
This time we travelled up the northeast coast. It was beautiful in a much different light. We saw so many more people than when we travelled out west! We also saw some awesome Brodways shows. Some of my favorites are "The Lion King," "Chicago," "The Music Man," and of course almost everyone's favorite, "The Lion King!" -
I went to Universal Studios in Orlando with the symphony orchestra at my high school playing the flute. I used to be pretty good.

I began attending a Presbyterican Church camp called Montreat.

I entered high school as a sophmore (such was the system at District 7) and continue running cross country for SHS.

Before the start of my senior year, I went to Australia, New Zealand, and the Fiji Islands with the Symphonic Orchestra again.
We spent two weeks touring the South Pacific. Most of our time was spent in Australia, and the last three days we enjoyed simply relaxing at a resort in The Fiji Islands. -
I went off to USC in Columbia, SC.
I was not ready to self educate, manage my time, finances, and social life the way I am now. I attended USC for only two years, then moved to London with a friend for the summer. -

I moved away from London back to South Carolina. This time I went to Charleston. Absolutely beautiful!

I began very interested in getting back in school and started becoming an avid reader once more.

I once again did a random move. This time to Fairhope.

A short two months after living in Fairhope and working at the Yacht Club, I met my husband.

We had news of a little one! Good times were definitely to come!

We moved from Fairhope to Mobile.

We were then pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Russell Dove!!

Dylan Russell Dove was born and had surgery. He was sent off to the USA NICU for 20 days.

We get to bring our little warrior home!

Alex and I move to Grove Hill, AL where his parents live.

We couldn't take it anymore! Alex, Dylan, and I moved back to Fairhope.

Dylan Russell turns one. It was the best party we could have hoped for!

I started school at the University of South Alabama!

Alex lets his dreams take flight as he strives to become a professional photographer.

Alex, Dylan, and I are so excited to pursue our dreams and create a beautiful, successful, and fullfilled life of our own.
