toddler is 18 months old Improves throwing motion, first moving whole body, then using just arm movements. Also, pushes and pulls large torys around the floor. baby might be capable of walking sideways. -
Child is 16-18 months intellectual
Child begins to scribble more freely but also can imitate strokes in drawing. He or she will gradually refine concepts. Also, is very inquisitive about everything. -

child is 21 months old child loves to run, jump and climb. He or she can kick a large ball without stepping on it. In addition, baby can sit on the floor from standing position quite easliy. -
Child is 19-21 months intellectual
Baby starts to be interested in small things, such as bugs. Can place circles, triangles and squares in foam board. Also associates tool with function it perfroms. For example, hammer with banging. -
Child is 22-24 months physical
Toddler enjoys playing with clay. He or she can throw ball into basket. Can alternate between sitting and standing with ease. -
Child is 22-24 months intellectual
Child identifies familiar objects on TV. Can distinguish between horizontal and vertical lines. Recognizes when a book is upside down. -
Toddler is 24-30 months physical
Plays on swings, ladder, and other playground equiptment. Kicks a ball foreward. Climbs everywhere. Can remove wrapping from gum and candy. -
Toddler is 24-30 months intellectual
Infant can follow 2-step demands. Likes to listen to tapes and enjoys playing house. -

Activity
A good activity for a four year old would be red light, green light.
When playing red light, green light one child pretends to be the police officer na turns their back and yells green light. When this is done all of the children run towards the police officer. The child then counts to five and then yells red light and all the kids havre to stop running. The first one to touch the police officer wins and now gets to be the police officer. -

Becomes straighter and thinner.
Gross motor- Balances on each foot for a short period of time

Emotional/social development of a five year old
Emotional-strangers is a fear when they go to kindergarten, empathy for others
Social-Can play in grpoups of five or six, develop more respect for others belongings -
Activity
A good activity for a five year old would be hot potato.
A group of kids sit cross-legged in a circle while the leader sits in the middle. Everyone passes the potato around while the leader has their eyes closed but when the leader yells hot whoever is holding the potato is out. -
Physical development of a six year old
Legs lenghten rapidly, growing stronger and firmer
Gross Motor- jumpos rope and can ride a two wheel bicycle with training wheels
Fine Motor- Ties shoes, cuts, paste, and colors skillfully -
Emotional/social development
Emotional- Crave praise and approval, easily hurt and disturbed, can enjoy music or dance lessons and organized sports
Social-When they tire of play, they simply drop out of game, friends are usually of the same sex, but play readily in mixed groups -
Activity
Bingo would be a great game for a six year old
Everyone gets a card with B-I-N-G-O spelled out over the top with random numbers under each letter. One person calls out a letter and number. If the child has that number then they would cover it and when you get a row completely covered then you win.
