    The ThinkPad is a laptop computer that was initially developed by IBM and marketed towards company executives. It had a full-color display and a built in Trackpoint to control the mouse cursor. The ThinkPad has been part of many adventures, some of them including NASA's space exploration, International Space Station, traveling along the entire Nile River and conquering Mount Everest. It helped change how information is gathered, stored, and made available.

    The Libretto was designed and produced by Toshiba. Known for its small size and functionality, it was able to do all of the normal processing of a computer and was the size of a paperback book. It led the way for having smaller and more available devices.

    The Nokia 9000 Communicator is one of the earliest smartphones on the market. It had 8MB of memory that were split between applications, program memory, and user data. Users could send and receive emails and faxes and had a web browser. The phone was bulky and heavy, but paved the way for the smartphones of the future.

    The all in one Macintosh desktop computer was designed and built by Apple. Jonathan Ive is the designer behind the translucent egg-shaped monitor. It was the first Macintosh computer to have a USB port, no floppy disk drive, and was known for it's simple set-up. This computer paved the way for the rest of the Apple products.
