- facial features continue to develop
- arms, legs, and bones being to form
- 1/4 in long

- baby is fully formed
- arms, hands, fingers, feet, buds of baby teeth, and toes and can open and your baby close its fists and mouth
- size is about 1 in

Month 4
-Fingers and toes are well divided
-teeth and bones are denser
-size is about 3 inches
-can suck its own thumb -
Month 5
- Hair on head begins to grow
- may begin to feel your baby move
- organs keep maturing
- baby becomes more active -measures about 6.5-7 inches

- if your baby is born pre-maturely, it may survive after the 23rd week with intensive care
- fetus appears wrinkled
- breathing movements begin
- your baby measures about 8-10 inches

-baby hearing is fully developed

Month 8
- you may notice the baby kicking more
- may react to loud noises
- begins moving into head-down position
- sizes is 14-16 inches

- lungs are nearly fully developed
- baby's position keeps changing to prepare going into labor
- 17-18 inches
