The Wright Brother were the first people to create a plane that successfully took off and landed. This was a very important part of time because it helped to pave the way for airplane that we fly in today. -

The titanic was the biggest cruiser ever made by far at the time. She was said to be unsinkable because of the reinforced hull it had. But sadly it was the Titanic's first voyage and sunk 5 days out from it's arrival killing Hundreds of people. -

Algeria and France war
This is important to me because my grandfather fought in this war. He fought for France even though he was Algerian. Because he fought for France he is now never allowed back in Algeria, so he can't see his daughter anymore who lives in Algeria. -
