    The introduction of steamboats to the U.S. would fall under innovations because it made transportation of goods and people from one place to another much faster. Robert Fulton's steamboat, the Clermont proved that they can anywhere much faster by steamboat when he traveled from New York to Albany in only 32 hours. Canals were soon created everywhere for easier transportation in steamboats.

Even when people doubted the success of Emma's school, her school flourished.

    The creation of the Liberator goes under slavery becuase William Lloyd Garrison, a white abolitionist wrote for an anti-slavery paper and later on owned his own anti-slavery newspaper. He created his own newspaper in hopes of getting immediate emancipation.

    Turner's Rebellion
    Turner's Rebellion goes under slavery and this was led by Nat Turner, a slave from Virginia. During this rebellion slaves rebelled against their owners for not being able to have freedom. Turner invaded four plantations with 50 other slaves and they ended up killing 60 people. When Turner and the other participants got caught, they were executed for fighting for their freedom.

    Samuel F.B. Morse inventing the telegraph would fall under innovations because the telegraph revolutionized the form of communication in the 19th century. The telegraph coded messages in morse which businesses used to update information on sales and to send their orders in. Also, it was used in railroads to warn others about hazards and to keep the other trains moving.

    The creation of the newspaper, The North Star goes under slavery and this newspaper was created by Frederick Douglass in 1847. The North Star was about anti-slavery and the significance of creating an anti-slavery newspaper was that Douglass hoped they can abolish slavery without violence.

    The Gold Rush would fall under society because it affected the population of California immensely and everyone became so eager to be part of the gold rush. James Marshall was the first person to discover the gold flakes near a sawmill and once the news spread everyone from other parts of the U.S., Asia, South America, and Europe came to California to pan for gold. This is significant because from a population of 400, it increased to 100,000 and gold also tranformed California's economy.

At the convention 300 women came to Seneca Falls, New York to approve grievances created by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott and one of the statements were to give women the right to vote. This gave women power to get the same equality as men.
