    Wool Guild Artist Contest
    A wool manufacturing company wanted an artist to create new doors for the Baptistry of the local cathedral, an old eight sided building. The guild held a contest to see which artist would make the doors. The winner of the contest was a 23-year old goldsmith named Lorenzo Ghiberti.
