    It was global war between Great Britain and their 13 colonies that declared its independence as The United States of America. The American Revolutionary War was significant because it gave rise to Democracy within the nation, and it gave independence from Britain.

    The document is what separated the 13 colonies from British control and gain independence. It is significant because without it the United states would keep being taxed and would of still be under British rule.
  • Civil War

    It started in 1861 because the South wanted to expand slavery while the North wanted to limit slavery. It is significant because the Civil allowed slavery to end and later on African Americans would be able to have equal rights.
  • Great Depression

    It was a very severe decline in the economy of the United States where many lost their jobs, it was the longest depression in the nation. It is significant because it put the U.S.A into a better economic system and after that they made laws to prevent it from happening again.

    It helped create more jobs for the unemployed citizens and help build the economy back up but however it did not end the Great Depression. It is significant because It helped build the confidence in the Americans and brought them relief.

    There many countries involved in WWII there were two factions in it, the Allies and the Axis powers. It was the most deadliest war in history with 50-85 million deaths. It is significant because we had stopped Germany from achieving world domination and protected Democracy.

    It was a surprise military attack by the Imperial Japanese navy against the U.S. in Hawaii. It is important because it is what lead the United states into World War II and ended the Great Depression.

    It was to dominate international affairs and to build weapons of mass destruction. It is significant because it made Americans become more cautious to declare war on other countries.

    It was a war between South Vietnam supported by anti-communists and the North supported by communist parties. it is important because it was a war that wanted to prevent the spread of Communism.
  • 9/11

    It was a surprise terrorist attack by an Islamic group al-Quaeda and they killed 2,996 people and injured 6000 others. It is important because it forced the U.S to take military action so it will not happen again, it revived patriotism in America and improved security in air ports.
