Social Age
My social age is around 25. I tend to relate better with adults and older people, rather than teenagers and people my age. I am more reserved and quiet. I do not like going out to parties and clubs. -
Psychological Age
Comparing my Psychological l Age to other 19 year olds, I would describe my Psychological age at around age 25. I have always felt older than my chronological age, my parents describe me as an "old soul". Compared to others in their late teens, I do not think I make rash decisions, or act impulsively. Along with my social age, I tend to be more reserved and I do not enjoy parties. -
Chronological Age
I was born on August 4, 1997 in Livingston, NJ. My Chronological Age makes me 19 years old. This is a picture of my mother and I the day I was born. -
Biological Age
By assessing my biological age, I would say I am around 19, the same as my Chronological Age. I am currently in good health, I like to exercise by going for jogs. I also try to eat fruits and vegetables at meal times. -
Non-Normitave Life Event
When I was 16 I finished high school early through homeschooling and began community college. This was a non-normative life event because I was 16, almost 17 when I began college. When most entering college are ages 18-19. I believe this is part of the reason I relate better to those who are older than me because they were my classmates. Because community college tends to attract older students, at age 17 my friends were aged 23-27, rather than other high school aged teenagers. -
Normative Age Graded Influence
Currently, I am a student at Gallaudet University. Going to college or university is a Normative Age Graded Influence because many people in the US at my age are either in school or in the work force.
