The School opens Officially
the school was officially opened as a Jesuit school and it was named St. Francis Xavier’s college. 92 students and 71 are borders and 44 came St. Patrick's college. -
The Great Hall is built
the great hall is built on the Eastern wall of the new west wing. -

The Crest and Motto for the college were finally decided upon after years of chopping and changing. -

Burke Hall or as it was known before Studley Hall was opened. -
The Memorial Chapel was completed
The construction of the memorial chapel was finally completed by the design of architects Schreiber and Jorgensen. -
Xavier wins Head of the River for the first time
Xavier has only won Head of the River 5 times since first competing in 1906. The most recent time being 1999 -
Kostka Hall opens
Kostka Hall opens with classes from year 2 to year 8 and 62 boys with 16 of them being borders -
Statute of St. Francis Xavier unveiled
It was built to commemorate his death 450 years ago.
