    Japanese invasion occured on July 7, 1937. What occured during that attack was because Japan accused China for one of their troops, firing them. They used this exucuse so Japan launched a full-scale invasion of China using Manchuria as a launching base for their troops. China's most important port, Shanghai fell and other capitols. Americans helped China by sending supplies. They created Airstrips to allow American planes to bomb the Japanese. Japanese surrendered and left 1 million troops.

    The Rape of Nanking was one of the most tragic inccident in history where it was a mass murder and mass rape. Nankings killed tens of thousands as it went. The final death toll of Nanji was 250,000. Although this was only an estamation, they kept this a secret. What caused this was when the Japanese captured Nanking. Japanese demanded for surrender but the Nankings refuesed. The Naking massacar ened when World War ll ended.

German air power prevented the enemy from adequately resupplying or redeploying forces and thereby from sending reinforcements to seal branches infront. Soviet union was defeated by Germany but then later on soviet union launched a counteroffensive in November 1942, trapping and destroying an entire German army at Stalingrad
  • The Nazi -Soviet Non-Aggression Pact

    Germany and Soviet Union met and signed the Nazi-Soviet Non Agression pact, which guaranteed that the two countries would not attack each other. Germany had protected themselves from having to fight a two-front in the soon-to-begin WWll. The Soviet was awarded land, parts of Poland and Baltic Sea. The pact was broken when Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union less than two years later. Since Hitler fought a two front war in WWl; split his force and weakend. They lost; he didn't want to mistake

    Poland was attacked at 4:45 a.m by 1.5 million German troops surrounding all 1,750- mile border. Hitler was the leader who ordered Germans to bomb poland airfields, and German warships and U-boats attacked polish naval forces in the Baltic Sea. Hitler claimed that the massive invasion was a defensive action. Although, Britain and France didn't believe it. They declared war which lead to WWII. Hitler planned out the attack on August 26 but learned that Britain had signed a trearty.

    A name given to Nazi German invasion of Russia and was the largest military attack. Three army groups attacked Russia. Although Russia had a large army , though the purges had wiped out a considerable part. The attack started at 3:00, Sunday morning. There were Germans and allied used 3 million soldiers, 3580 tanks, 7184 artillery guns, 1830 planes, and 750000 horses.
  • Wannsee Conference

    Wannsee Conference
    Nazi party and German governmenofofficials gathered at a villa in Berlin suburb of Wannsee to discuss and coordinate the implementation of what they called the "Final Solution of the Jewish Question". People participated at this meeting and were aware that the National Socialist regime had engaged in mass murder of Jews and other civilians. The Jews were deployed under appropriate supervision at a suitable form of labor deployment in the East.

    Thr battle of Okinawa ws fought on April 1st 1945. The US Marines launched an attack to disarm of the Japanese navel ships and to kill off any reinforcements of the Imperial Army.

United states was the first and only nation to use atomic weaponry during war time. American bomber dropped a five-ton bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshmia. A blast equivalent to the power of 15,000 tons and immediately killing 80,000 people. Three days later another bomb was dropped killing nearly 40,000 more people; they surrendered.

    VJ Day was the day that Japan surrendered to all of the Allied forcers, ending the World War. Several months after the surrender of Nazi Germany. Japan's capitulation in the pacific brought six years of hostilities to a final and highly anticipated close.
