The iPhone 4 was the thinnest smartphone during it's launch time. -
iPhone 4S
The iPhone 4S contained many new and improved features. Siri was first introduced in the iPhone 4S. -
iPhone 5
The iPhone 5 was the thinnest and lightest iPhone created by Apple in 2012. The exterior was made of aluminum and glass. -
iPhone 5C & 5S
Both the iPhone 5C and 5S were launched on the same day. The iPhone 5S included multiple new and improved features, including Touch ID (fingerprinting). -
iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus
This double release had over 4 million first-day pre-orders within the first 24 hours. These iPhones had new innovative technologies, and impressive displays. -
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus
The additional joint release had even more improvements in it's software and operating system, as well as touch interface. -
iPhone SE
The iPhone SE was not as much a new release as it was an upgrade of the iPhone 5. These two models looked the same, but was altered so users could not use the same phone cases. -
iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus
The dual launch of these iPhones caused controversy due to the removal of the headphone jack. -
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have a glass backing to allow wireless charging, and the A11 bionic processor which was 25% faster than the A10. -
iPhone X
The iPhone X (iPhone 10) was apple's first attempt at an all screen phone design. -
iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max
The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were virtually water and dust resistent. The A11 processor was improved to the A12 processor, which has speeds up to 2.49 GHz. -
iPhone XR
The iPhone XR was created to be a "budget" choice of the iPhone XS. The iPhone XR is improved from the iPhone 8, but lacks some features of the iPhone XS.
