IPhone 3GS
Approximately 2 years later Steve Jobs came out with another IPhone. The IPhone 3GS. They added the "S" because it had a faster speed. With little changes, like oil resistant screens, so peoples fingers and other oils wouldn't stay on the screen. This is also when they added Siri the voice control. The first IPhone
The first IPhone was made by Steve Jobs. He released it to the public on June 29th, 2007. The first IPhone was 3.5 inch LED screen at 320X480. It had a 2G edge data radio, WIFI, bluetooth, and a 2 megapixel camera. It had a ARM-based processor and a PowerVR MBX Lite 3D graphics chip made by Samsung. IPhone 4
The IPhone 4 was released on June 24 of 2010. It it had brand new features that no one had ever seen before. Steve added the feature Facetime, that had never been seen before except on the first IPad he had releases earlier that year. Facetime was the new communication. They also changed the text messaging font, which made the text messages look like a fine printed page. IPhone 4s
The IPhone 4s was released on October 14 of 2011. They kept the basic design of the Phone and added other features. This is when they introduced siri and replaced it with Voice control. They also introduced Icloud which is a system in the phone that saves everything on your phone to you apple ID, so if you were to lose your phone and would have to get a new one you could type in your ID when you start the phone and all of your stuff would be there.

IPhone 5
The IPhone 5 was released to the public on September 21st of 2012. They made some improvements that were very helpful to the public. They changed the screen from 3.5 inches long to 4 inches long. The IPhone also got a lot lighter in weight. They added a better camera. This is also when they introduced IOS 6. IOS 6 updated Siri so she was able to answer your questions. IPhone 5S
The IPhone 5S was released on September 20th of 2013. The IPhone 5S kept the same shape and mass as the IPhone 5. The biggest change they made was adding a finger scan on the home button. Which allows the phone to scan the finger that you chose and log you into your phone without a passcode. They also updated the camera quality as well as the speed. IPhone 6 & 6 Plus
The IPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released on September 19 of 2014. Apple decided to change the sizing of the IPhone, from a 4 inch long screen to a 4.7 inch screen on the IPhone 6 and a 5.5 inch screen on the IPhone 6 plus. They also added Apple pay, which allows you to pay with the scan of your finger instead of having to type in your passcode. Iphone 6s & 6 Plus
The IPhone 6s and 6s plus were released on September 12 of 2015. IPhone SE
The IPhone SE was released on March 31st of 2016. The IPhone SE is also known as the mini IPhone 6s. It is the same size as the IPhone 5 with more upgrades, but less upgrades than the 6s. For instance, the IPhone SE does not have 3D touch, and not as good photos, and can't go up to 128GB of storage. IPhone 7 & 7 Plus
The IPhone 7 & 7 Plus were released on September 7th of 2016. The IPhone 7 had major upgrades. They took away their headphone jack and added wireless headphones, or you can use normal headphones but you plug them into the charging port. They made the entire phone water proof, and added a second camera on the 7 Plus where you can zoom in 12 times farther. They also added a new color that was a jet black.
