This was the last offensive campaign by the German forces on the Western Front for WW2. The goal was to stop the Allied forces from splitting the Allied forces and force them to negotiate. Allied victory won the battle and led the German to exhaust their resources in the Western Front. Image

Normandy Landings were operations in order to captured back areas so that the Allied forces could gain ground in Europe. This would be knows as D-Day. At least 10,000 allied forces troops died during the course of this operation. This would lead to having the Allied forces to start winning battles in European lands. Image
