It started with a 8p.m. curfew on the first day. Churchhill wanted Paris to hold on and not give into Germany, Paris tried to hold on until America entered the war. We even tried to help Paris but they couldnt hold on anymore. -

When Japan attack the United States at Pearl Harbor destroying most of the navel fleet and starting the second part of the war. -

Where head officials meet to discuss the final solution for the jews. When the holocaust begain. The second in command to Hitler went to the emegration office of jews how to complete the final solution in all of Europe. -
Bataan Death March
75,000 American and Filipino soilders were forced to hike a 65 mile hike. By the Japanese. They suffered harsh treatment from the japanese gaurds. -
Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
For about a month the jews in the Warsaaw Ghetto had a uprising against the Nazi regime. They inspired the uprisings in the camps and other occupied areas. -
Battle of Midway
The U.S.finally desfeated japan. It was the most intense naval battle of WWll. 6 months after Pearl Harbor. -
Allied Invasion of Italy
The United States, Great Britian, and the Soviets stormed into Italy to take down the finale regime to take down the germans. It took a little over a year to defeat them. They also fought in North Africa. -
D-day
From June 1944 to August 1944 the United States, Great Britian, and Canada landed on the beaches of the France, Normandy region. They Landed 156,000 troops on the 50 mile long beach.Its code name was operation Overlord.This took weeks of planning. By the end of August they had took over the beaches and defeated the Germans. -
Battle of the Bulge
The German army split the allies in half. Has the Germans were attacking the Allies. General Patton noticed a giant Bulge in the map. After careful planning and monovering through it the Allies came through and took over the battle despite heavy artilery. -
Liberation of The Concentration Camps
They started liberated concentration camps for the final stages of war. The Soviets were the first to start liberating the camps, The Majdanek camp was one of the first to be liberated. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
The Battle of Iwo Jima took place because of a need of a naval base near Japan. The Marines landed 3 groups at Iwo Jima and took out 23,000 japenease troops even though they had dug huge trenches and tunnels in the ground. I took a month of firing to capture Iwo Jima. -
VE Day
The day that Hitler surrenderd to the United States and Great Britian. When 13,000 POWs were sent back to Great Britian and 8,000 Germans were taken into prision by the Soviet Union. Later Surrender terms were signed later. -
Dropping the Atomic Bomb
After exstinsive reaserch from Einstein we were able to creat the atomic bomb. On August 6th the Engola Gay dropped it on Hiroshima. with barely having enough time to escape. Dropping the bomb destroyed everthing in its path. -
VJ Day
The day that Japan surrenderd is known as VJ Day. Meaning Victory over Japan. It can also be said on September 2,1945. The day Japan officialy surrenderd on the U.S.S Missouri.
